Watch as Adam Belsher, CEO, Magnet Forensics, describes the “Digital Tsunami” confronting law enforcement agencies across the globe in their battle against cybercrime.
In this interview, Mr. Belsher, a member of the eCrime Cyber Council, describes how his experience working with law enforcement organizations varying in size from 5-member sworn forces to the largest intelligence agencies, both nationally and globally, has provided him with a solid understanding of the unique challenges facing police in their need to effectively manage the wave of digital evidence confronting them.
In this interview, Mr. Belsher touches on many of the issues related to digital evidence management, including how to identify, process, analyze, and ultimately present in court. He identifies challenges in training, manpower, and forensic bottlenecks. Through his involvement on the ECC, Mr. Belsher hopes to be a crucial part of the Private-Public-Partnership models required to help advance the issues related to digital evidence in policing and continue to realize the benefits of on-going dialogue.
