Toronto, ON – CATA Cyber, a division of CATAAlliance, in its effort to support Canada’s cybersecurity industry, announced today a partnership with CyberSecurity San Antonio, a group established by the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and City of San Antonio to grow the city’s cybersecurity sector.
“ Our cross border partnership is a great opportunity to not only collaborate but learn from the many success stories San Antonio has created for the cybersecurity industry” says Katherine Thompson, Chair of CATA’s Cyber Council, adding, “The San Antonio area has been able to build scale for industry, innovation and academic programs that make it one of the country’s major hubs for cybersecurity expertise.”
“CyberSecurity San Antonio is in the process of developing several international partnerships to foster the exchange of innovation, build collaborative networks and enhance security between markets”, said Will Garrett, Director of CyberSecurity San Antonio.
Garrett concluded, “We are excited to work with CATA and pursue joint initiatives that combine Canada’s extensive national cyber framework and culture of innovation with San Antonio’s robust cyber ecosystem, to drive security resiliency and business growth between the two nations.”
