33rd Annual CATAAlliance Innovation and Leadership Awards Gala

The 33rd Annual Gala celebrates the best-of-the-best award-winners across the spectrum of advanced technology areas. Check out the Award categories!

Join us to celebrate the best of Canadian innovation and see the world’s most adopted technologies. For more than three decades, the CATAAlliance Innovation Gala has been celebrating the best in Canadian advanced technology.

At the Gala, the winners are recognized for their innovation, expertise, and leadership in Canada’s innovation community. View our Leadership Awards Video Sharing Channel where past winners and sponsors share their success secrets.

And we have added a new Award: The Making the Most of Her MBA Award recognizes Canada’s top women MBAs who show, in addition to an outstanding academic record, the skills and motivation for becoming a next generation leader.

This year’s Gala theme: Embracing A.I. means a boost to business (view video)

Jodi Wallis, Managing Director, Artificial Intelligence (A.I.), Canada

Ms. Wallis drives Accenture’s collaboration with business partners, government and academia in the A.I. ecosystem, at a time when organizations increasingly are turning to AI as the predominant way to do business. She  also helps clients to unlock the potential bottom-line benefits of AI as evidenced by the recent Accenture research findings that AI is expected to add an additional CAD $636.1 billion to the economy by 2035, increasing the annual growth rate of gross value added from 2.1 to 3.5 percent.

During her 24 years at Accenture, Wallis has developed deep expertise in management consulting and technology consulting.

Ms. Wallis earned her Bachelor of Mathematics with Honours from the University of Waterloo, where she majored in operations research and minored in statistics and computer science. She actively volunteers in the Toronto community, serving on the organizing committee of the Covenant House Guts + Glory Corporate Challenge, which raises funds for Canada’s largest agency serving at-risk, homeless and trafficked youth.

And a Reminder to check CATA’s A.I. News Updates, as we advance community initiatives to help propel Canada as a leader in this field.

Our Keynote will also join an Executive Panel who will share insights on key topics, such as:

  • the CEO is not the only leader any more
  • building a flagship enterprise in a world without borders
  • combining the power of AI innovation and citizen engagement
  • preparing your company and our nation for the future

Alumni CTV, Tech Now Moderator, Paul Brent, will engage the Panel in lively discussions. Gala Guests are also able to pose questions prior to the event via email to: info@cata.ca.
