(January 19, 2017) – Springboard Enterprises (www.sb.co), a venture catalyst dedicated to promoting high growth potential companies led by women, announced the formation of the Springboard Canadian Advisory Council and its seven Founding Members. The Founding Members are connected influencers, investors, and innovators from the technology and life science sectors across Canada.
For 16 years, Springboard has remained steadfast in its mission to support women entrepreneurial leaders who create and grow scalable, sustainable businesses. Collectively Springboard companies have raised USD $7.4 billion, created tens of thousands of new jobs and generated billions in revenue. Over 80% have raised capital and over 80% are still in business. Fourteen are listed on public exchanges.
Springboard has a decade-long history of working with Canadian entrepreneurs and affiliate organizations like CATA and Norton Rose. Its portfolio includes Canada-based Amika Mobile, Eve Medical, MyndTek, Plum.io, and Self Care Catalysts as well as over 600 others globally, like Zipcar, Constant Contact, iRobot, ViaCell, Achillion, and MinuteClinic.

Springboard hosts an annual accelerator program comprised of several cohorts targeting companies in the life science, media, health, and enterprise technology sectors. The Canadian Advisory Council will be actively engaged in recruiting and working with Canadian companies to participate in all Springboard programs including the upcoming Health Innovation Hub: Pharma 2017 cohort.
